Maintain and Develop

By this phase you have already defined and desribed the activities, processes, measuring tools and responsibilities of planning, implementing and developing online courses. You have chosen the areas for development and have systematically documented the activities you have done. 

Now it is time to analyze and check have the actitivities you have done been effective, are the processes, measuring tools, etc. appropriate in improving quality of your online courses. The questions in this phase might help you focus on the issues that need to be checked. At this phase, the continuous improvement and development should be an everyday task.

Skills How do you use the information on student skills in developing your online course? How do you develop further and maintain your skills and knowledge in implementing online courses? Do you have access to technical and/or pedagogical support in implementing online teaching? Where and who from? Which elements can you produce without help?

Resources Are you able to use the information / data about resourcing and allocation of resources in your own online course? How? How do you ensure enough resources for next online course?

Processes Do you have a good, working processfor your online course? How do you use the assessment data to develop the production / implemetation process of your online courses? What new areas of development / improvement do you choose? On what basis do you choose those areas?

Evaluation / assessment Analyze if the assessment criteria and measuring tools give adequate / appropriate information about the implementation of the online course? If not, how do you define and improve the criteria and tools? Are you able to use assessment data for improvement of your own actions? If not, are you collecting assessment data in vain/for nothing?  How do you make sure that all the criteria, tools and assessment is in line with the general evaluation criteria and tools of your organisation?
